24 Hours 24 Vegas

The glimmering bright lights and big city is continuing to grow. There are a lot of options to choose from. Let me help narrow your search but sharing a few of the many great things to see and do in Las Vegas. If you are new to Las Vegas or native with limited time and looking to do as much as possible within a short time, let the below list of some of the best Vegas has to offer guide you to your 24-hour adventure in Las Vegas. Cindy Rodriguez – VSM

Vegas has been known to be a 24/7 town for years, and that has not changed.

One of the many unique qualities of our city is that we are amongst the few towns that offer entertainment and daily shopping in some stores without closing. The city has grown and doubled in size in a short time span, and with that the growth is continuing and off the Las Vegas Strip. There are many tourists or visitors in town for a short weekend trip or here on a convention, concert, show along with locals who are busy but want to see what the latest attractions, restaurants and entertainment the city has to offer. Once you have seen your show, convention or concert make sure to enjoy some of the many other opportunities the city has to offer. Our Feature Five articles will give you a more in depth perspective of specific topics such as nightlife, dining, shows and attractions but in the meantime this article may help you plan for something different.

Day one visiting the strip and downtown Las Vegas. Start the day with breakfast at one of the many unique cafes, buffets or coffee shops depending on your appetite. If you’re looking to eat at a buffet, I recommend Le Village at the Paris Las Vegas or Bacchanal Buffet at Caesars Palace redefines the buffet experience Voted one of the best buffets on the strip! Cindy Rodriguez is now, following more than a year of renovation, the award-winning buffet showcasing a multimillion-dollar enhancement, the Bacchanal's seafood, carving, American and Latin kitchens, as well as the entrance and dining room, have all received major upgrades and improvements.

After a big meal, it’s off to see the sites and that will depend on what you like to do. For history buffs, I recommend seeing the Neon Museum, Mob Museum and too cool off depending on the day of year and temperature, I would recommend cooling off by walking inside some of the iconic casinos in the Freemont experience downtown.

There are many free attractions to see as well but many of them are better to see at night with the twinkling bright neon lights downtown and on the strip. Some of the many free features to see is Freemont Street Experience located in downtown Las Vegas. For selfie lovers there are plenty of iconic neon backdrop settings for that Vintage Vegas scene. Other freebies to see are: The Bellagio has several stunning attractions for visitors.

The Conservatory and Botanical Gardens display gorgeous plants, flowers, trees and rare botanical finds from all over the world. Admire the essence of every season in this ever-changing attraction. Make sure not leave without passing by the water show outside the hotel that runs every 15 minutes or so. Alongside the water it is coordinated to music and water sounds that are both interesting and relaxing. Finish the night by observing the best views and entertainment.

At the end of the day, I recommend stopping at Caesars Palace to walk around and visit the Forum Shops. After taking in some sites indoors and shopping, take in a view of the exciting city with a great meal and drinks for those 21 and over. If you’re a sushi lover I recommend eating in the upper deck at: Sushi Roku inside the mall you’re your way, take a ride on the high roller where you will see the entire city, I recommend this at night. After viewing the city from the top, relax and unwind at the promenade just walking distance from the LINQ Hotel and next to the High roller.
